About the Challenge
It’s time to think out-of-the field, push your inventive boundaries, and innovate now. They truly consider that your innovation can redefine paths, re-shift paradigms, and make change occur for a greater tomorrow. This monumental moment of innovation can influence businesses and lives perpetually and unleash limitless prospects for everybody.
The 2021 Accenture Innovation Challenge springboards from the theme “Combining Technology with Human Ingenuity for a better world”. It goals at bringing collectively the essence of human ingenuity and the ability of technology, each of which culminate into that one moment and its limitless outcomes.
Phases
- Phase 1 – Registrations and Idea submissions: Form a team of as many as 4 members and submit your innovative ideas and options as per the submission template. Also, share with us your innovative ideas by an interesting elevator pitch video (1-2 minutes).
- Phase 2 – Online Simulation: Only shortlisted groups will advance to this stage and take part in the online simulation round.
- Phase 3 – Prototyping: Top 20 groups will obtain funding of INR 25,000 to build their prototypes and compete in the semi-final round. If you’re selected, you’ll get an opportunity to be mentored by our innovation coaches and present the ultimate solution to the grand jury within the next round.
- Final Phase – Grand Finale: Compete within the grand finale and present your progressive concepts to win big.
So, ensure you form a competent and numerous team to place your best foot forward, as we consider diversity drives innovation.
Prizes
The group which presents essentially the most inventive elevator pitch video will win a mega cash prize of INR 10,000 (per team member).

Rules
- This is a team participation hackathon. You can have 1 to 4 members in your team.
- You can both invite your friends to form a team or you may request different groups to add you as a member.
- The idea phase will begin on Jul 21, 2021, 4:00 PM IST and finish on Aug 07, 2021, 11:55 PM IST, you work on your hack through the allotted time only.
- The prototype phase will begin on Sep 12, 2021, 10:00 AM IST, and finish on Sep 26, 2021, 11:55 PM IST, you work on your hack through the allotted time only.
- It’s an online hackathon, you may take part from anywhere.
- There are 2 themes of the hackathon, it’s essential to submit a hack that is in one of these themes.
- Once the hackathon begins, you’ll get a choice to submit your hack, you may submit as many times as you need, the final hack will be considered as the final submission.
- You are expected to come up with new and progressive concepts, any concept that has been copied from someplace will be disqualified.
- Your hack should be developed fully during the Hackathon duration. You could use open source libraries and different freely available platforms/ companies such as Google Maps, Facebook Connect, Twitter feeds, and many others.
