The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai is organizing a Workshop Series for School Teachers: Storytelling with Children from June 25 to September 10, 2021.

Teachers are anticipated to commit a complete of 60 hours for the educational expertise over 12 weeks. Each week, academics would take part in a synchronous workshop for 2 hours and are anticipated to spend three hours on their very own for private apply/ challenge.

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) was established in 1936 and was awarded the ‘Deemed to be University standing in 1964. TISS is absolutely funded by the University Grants Commission, Government of India, and operates from its principal campus in Mumbai, and the off-campuses at Tuljapur, Guwahati, and Hyderabad.

Workshop Modules
  • Week 1-4: Exploring the instruments, abilities, and character of a storyteller
  • Week 5-10: Practice Workshop
  • Week 10-12: Storytelling Project
Who can Attend?

Teachers of all grades and topic specializations are eligible to apply. No prior expertise is necessary.

Selection Process

Kindly fill the appliance kind. It contains writing a Statement of Purpose (Describing in 250- 500 phrases – Why do you plan to take part in this workshop collection?) Candidates will be shortlisted on the idea of software and notified by way of e-mail.

Course Fee

INR 6000 for full workshop collection (12 workshops)

How to Apply?

A certificate of participation is granted to individuals on passable completion of the workshops and challenges. The workshops can be held online. The periods can be interactive and are anticipated to be attended stay. The periods won’t be recorded for viewing later. However, recordings of key learnings and sources can be shared by the facilitator as texts and movies.
