Roles & Responsibilities:
EDU & Transmission Design – Responsibilities:
- Work on EDU and Automatic transmission domain – Mechanical component design and development activities
- Work on concept design and its feasibility studies with respect to function, manufacturing, assembly, and optimizations
- Work on feasibility studies based on Material selection, manufacturing process, and failure data
- Work on 3D assemblies including Multipart modeling, Assemblies using NX tool
- Work on GD&T application – tolerance stack-up calculation and finalization of 2d drawings
- Data handling with product data management tool
- Work on Cross-functional design – analysis loops
Qualifications Required:
EDU & Transmission Design – Skills:
- Good Know-how on Mechanical-Electrical component Interfaces and design
- Good exposure to e-Motor selection, EDU design, performance evaluation, and impact analysis including battery technologies
- Exposure to Transmission layout, Bearing selection, shaft design, Housing, and Gear component design
- Overview of Automobile EV domain, Latest trends & technologies, Major assemblies and components
- Good communication skills & High motivation to work in a team and to contribute with a positive attitude
- Capable of working independently on a given task
- Stakeholder mgt. skills (Discussion with Plant, R&D, Suppliers, etc.)
- The German Language is added advantage
- Fundamental knowledge of Mechanical Engineering topics
- Overview of Automobile systems and components
- Good communication skills & High motivation to work in a team and to contribute with a positive attitude
