The International Center for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS), Bangalore is organizing a Bangalore School on Statistical Physics by ICTS, Bangalore from June 28 to July 9, 2021.
Due to the continuing COVID-19 pandemic, the school will likely be performed by online lectures. This advanced-level college is the twelfth within the sequence. This is a pedagogical college, aimed toward bridging the hole between masters-level programs and matters in statistical physics on the frontline of the present analysis. It is meant for Ph.D. college students, post-doctoral fellows, and school members.
The International Centre for Theoretical Sciences, middle of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, is an analysis institute primarily based in Bengaluru, India. Founded in 2007, ICTS has grown from a fledgling establishment to a world heart of exercise in numerous areas of science.
The following programs will likely be supplied.
- Introduction to Statistical field theories of athermal programs by Bulbul Chakrabarty (Brandeis University, US)
- Out of equilibrium dynamics of advanced programs by Leticia Cugliandolo (Sorbonne University, France)
- Introduction to open quantum programs by Manas Kulkarni (ICTS, Bangalore)
- Dyson Brownian movement, free fermions and connections to Random Matrix Theory by Gregory Schehr (Sorbonne University, France)
- Non-equilibrium and periodically pushed quantum programs by Arnab Sen (IACS, Kolkata)
- Markov processes and applications by Hugo Touchette (Stellenbosch University, South Africa)
