1. JRF/Project Associate I (Project 1)

• Project Title: DBT-Networking mission “Germplasm Characterization and Trait Discovery in Wheat using Genomics Approaches and its Integration for Improving Climate Resilience, Productivity, and Nutritional quality”
• Number of Post: 1(One)
• Eligibility
  • 1st class Master’s degree in Agricultural Science (Plant or Crop Physiology), Biotechnology, Botany (Plant Physiology).
  • Experience in working with area crops, designing area structure, statistical analyses, knowledge interpretation, report writing, tissue nutrient evaluation, and so on. Expertise in MS Office.
• Emoluments
  • Rs. 31,000/- plus 24% HRA p.m. for NET/GATE or any National Level Exams performed by Central Govt Dept.
  • Rs. 25,000/- plus 24% HRA p.m. for others without the above qualification.

2. JRF/Project Associate-I (Project 2)

• Project Title: DBT-Networking mission “Mainstreaming of Sesame germplasm for productivity enhancement and sustainability through genomics assisted core development and trait discovery”.
• Number of Post: 1(One)
• Eligibility:
  • 1st class Master’s diploma in Agricultural Science (Plant or Crop Physiology/ Biotechnology/Plant Breeding & Genetics), Botany (Plant Physiology).
  • Experience in working with area crops, designing area structure, statistical analyses, knowledge interpretation, report writing, tissue nutrient evaluation, and so on. Expertise in MS Office.
• Emoluments:
  • Rs. 31,000/- plus 24% HRA p.m. for NET/GATE or any National Level Exams performed by Central Govt Dept.

3. Project Assistant (Project – 2)

• Project Title: DBT-Networking mission “Mainstreaming of Sesame germplasm for productivity enhancement and sustainability through genomics assisted core development and trait discovery”.
• Number of Post: 1(One)
• Eligibility
  • B.Sc., ideally in agriculture, from an acknowledged college.
  • Experience of working within the rice/sesame/wheat area, knowledge recording using devices, help in sowing, harvesting, and sampling.
• Emoluments: Rs. 20,000/- plus 24% HRA p.m.

4. Junior Research Fellow (Project 3)

• Project Title: DBT-NER mission “Candidate gene association mapping for tolerance to iron toxicity and low phosphorus stress in rice”
• Number of Post: 1(One)
• Eligibility
  • 1 st class Master’s degree in Agricultural Science (Plant or Crop Physiology), Biotechnology, Botany (plant physiology), Life Science (plant science).
  • Hands-on expertise in fundamental molecular methods like cloning, transformation, transgenic evaluation, in silico evaluation using numerous software programs, report writing. Expertise in MS Office.

5. Junior Research Fellow (Project 4)

• Project Title: SERB-DST mission “Study of Physiological and Molecular basis of ammonia volatilization losses from rice canopy and its relationship with nitrogen use efficiency under changing climate”

• Eligibility:
  • 1st class Master’s degree in Plant or Crop Physiology, Botany (plant physiology), Biotechnology, Life Science (plant science)
  • Experience in working with area crops, designing area structure, statistical analyses, knowledge interpretation, report writing, fundamental molecular methods. Expertise in MS Office.

6. Junior Research Fellow ( Project 5)

• Project Title: DBT mission “Site-directed mutagenesis of low-affinity nitrate transporter gene for improving nitrogen uptake efficiency in aerobic rice”

• Eligibility:
  • 1st class Master’s degree in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences (Plant Science).
  • Hands-on expertise in fundamental molecular methods like cloning, transformation, transgenic evaluation, in silico evaluation using numerous software programs, report writing. Expertise in MS Office.
