Indian Statistical Institute is a Civil Service and Research institute which is acknowledged as an institute of nationwide significance by the 1959 act of the Indian parliament. It grew out of the Statistical Laboratory to arrange by Prasanta Chandra Mahalanobis in Presidency College, Kolkata.
Qualifications
- M.E/ M.Tech or cquivalent diploma in Computer Science/ Electrical Engincering/ Electronics/ Information Technology or M.Sc. in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Electronics/ Computer Science/ Physics.
- Good data in Computer Programming (C/ C+/Java), All using First Class.
- All using First Class.
- Expertise in analysis work
Salary
Consolidated pay of Rs. 28000/- (Rupees twenty-eight thousand solely) to Rs. 35000/- (Rupees thirty 5 thousand solely) per 30 days, relying on the qualification and expertise.
Tenure
The appointment will probably be until 31 March 2022 from the date of his/ her becoming a member of the Institute which can be prolonged later/ terminated earlier, relying on the supply of funds and the efficiency of the candidates.
