The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), Faith for Earth Council, Govardhan Eco Village, and the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) are collaborating for the launch of its Value Education Olympiad for the year 2021.
About the VEO 2021
This is a certification program, where every scholar will get a certificate that will have UNEP’s credentials, Faith for Earth Council, and ISKCON. The certificates would be adding value to the profile of the student, additionally facilitating their portfolio.
The Value Education Olympiad 2021 is targeted at climate change. Being conscious of the atmosphere is the need of the hour, as climate change would be the defining challenge for this era. Statistically speaking, the final 7 (seven) years have had the hottest world average temperature on record and this trend is predicted to continue.
The air temperature in India particularly has risen about 0.7 ℃ between 1901 and 2018. If deterioration continues as it’s, our climate and ecosystems might never get better. This program (Value education Olympiad 2021) inculcates values amongst the scholars, guiding them to behave in opposition to climate change.
The course and research materials for the program will be offered online and might be viewed at any time. According to a UN study, 6 values play a significant role in sensitizing an individual for the environment and we’ve got included these values under our VEO program

As part of this program, we will be conducting 7 (seven) recorded seminars for the scholars, each Sunday beginning 1st August 2021 and ending on 12th September 2021. Additionally, there will be 2 (two) online environmental workshops, on 19th September and 26th September 2021, which will be delivered by “Sow Good” and will be facilitated by skilled environmentalists and theologians.
Prizes
Registration Fee
- The program has a registration payment of Rs. 50 for every Student.
- Registration begins on 15th July 2021 and ends on 15th September 2021. A remaining examination will be conducted on 17th October 2021.
- The top scorers of the examination are eligible to win some exciting prizes.
