Who can Apply?
- This program is open to communities that have a presence in Facebook Groups with leaders who’re 18 years of age or older and reside within the following international locations: Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Mexico, Brazil, United States, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Egypt, Morocco & India.
- Communities should have existed for over one year and should have a minimal dimension of 1,000 members.
- The program shall be carried out in Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish (Colombia, Chile, Peru, Mexico & Argentina), German (Germany, Switzerland & Austria), and English for all the opposite markets.
- Participants of the 2020 Community Accelerator are usually not eligible to use it. Participants in different Facebook applications are welcome to use it so long as they meet this system’s necessities.
Funding Details
Facebook will work with GlobalGiving to fund individuals’ venture plans & to assist set them up for achievement in this system. Selected individuals will every obtain as much as USD 50k for his or her participation in this system and to fund their group initiatives throughout the eight-month program and could be eligible to obtain a part of the USD 1 million of extra funding accessible to additional fund their group initiatives. Up to USD 7.5 million shall be awarded to program individuals in whole.
