JRF in Chemistry Under SERB Funded Project at IIT Indore: Apply by 4th July

Applications are invited for JRF (Chemistry) Under SERB Funded Project at IIT Indore for the year 2021. The final date of application is 4 July 2021.

Applications are invited from extremely motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a SERB-funded Research Project titled ” s-block Metal Aromatics and Antiaromatics “.

The objective of the Project

The goal of the project is to synthesize s-block metallic antiaromatic compounds through salt elimination of Group 2 metallic precursor and dilithium salt of butadiene moiety. Successful outcomes of this may additionally be approached towards reduction of the antiaromatic compounds resulting in the 6π electrons aromatic system.

Eligibility

Essential Qualification: Master’s in Chemistry from recognized Universities/Institutes with JRF (CSIR/UGC-NET) or legitimate GATE rating.

Duration

The preliminary appointment will be for one year, which is extendable up to the period of the project solely primarily based on performance.

Salary

The amount of JRF fellowship shall be as per SERB norms.
