The Centre for Transporation & Logistics, Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad is organizing a workshop on “Electric Vehicle: A Primer for Beginners” shall familiarize members in academia, and from trade with the important thing ideas and elements of the EV trade. Also, the workshop shall pose a number of the key challenges and alternatives each on the analysis and industrial fronts within the EV area.

This is a two-session workshop (every session of two hours), and it’s suggested to attend each class.

  • Session 1: June 15, 2021, at 5 – 7 PM IST adopted by QA
  • Session 2: June 22, 2021, at 5 – 7 PM IST adopted by QA

Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad is an enterprise college situated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. It is constantly ranked among the many prime enterprise colleges in India. The college has been accorded the standing of an Institute of National Importance by the Ministry of Human Resources, Government of India in 2017.

Course Contents
  1. Key parts of an electrical vehicle (EV) and sorts of EVs
  2. Overview of associated ideas together with Li-Ion battery and Battery Management System
  3. Different forms of EV charging (gradual, quick, AC/DC)
  4. EV outlook (present state and projections in Indian and worldwide market)
  5. Role of area stakeholders in EV operations (drivers, fleet operators, cost level operators, mobility service suppliers, power suppliers, OEMs)
  6. Electricity distribution community ideas to grasp the function of utilities in EV
  7. EV Financing in India (present state, challenges, alternatives, and examples)
  8. EV Policy in India (FAME II, Electricity Rates, Subsidies)
  9. Research/industrial challenges and alternatives in India EV panorama together with city planning, end-user habits, coverage making, and infrastructure planning.
