Responsibilities:
- Responsible for commissioning of Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) as permission schedule
- Perform the commissioning actions as per the mission schedule. Carry out reliability assessments on WTGs as per Contractual necessities
- Achieve Loss Production Factor (LPF) targets as per Vesta’s necessities. Handing over of WTGs to Customer / Vestas’ Customer Service division
- Support set up actions as could also be required on the web site
- Conduct due diligence test of mechanical and electrical completion of WTG previous to commissioning
- Responsible for commissioning of WTGs as per Vestas Standards and adhering to mission schedules
- Planning, sustaining, and optimizing commissioning spares & calibration instruments, Personal protecting gear (PPEs), and keep all associated data
- Analyzing the WTG efficiency after commissioning and preparation for conducting reliability assessments
- Handling non-conformity studies (NCRs) of commissioning
- Perform WTG audits, closing of punch lists, and handing over WTGs to Customer/ Vestas Customer Service Department
- Support in set up actions viz-a-viz crane coordination, materials co-ordination, unloading/ loading, preparation & rigging actions
- Impart on the job coaching on commissioning to set up engineers/ freshers and contribute to the event of the Installation & Commissioning group
- Work carefully with all related stakeholders to make sure progress as permission schedule
- Initiate mitigation measures within the occasion of any anticipated delay in commissioning progress
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum requirement of Diploma in Electrical / Electronics
- Minimum 4+ years of labor expertise within the commissioning of WTGs
Competencies:
- Good understanding of Electrical circuits / Hydraulic circuits and drive trains in WTGs
- Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting and rectification
- Basic data insecurity and dealing at heights
- Basic computing abilities and talent to work on on-line reporting techniques
- Effective Communication abilities
- Effective reporting abilities
- Proficiency in coordinating abilities
