About the Scholarship
The Scholarships are awarded yearly worldwide and DACA students enrolled at Universities MPOWER helps. They deliberately designed the Global Citizen Scholarship to be as broad as the potential to match the broad, numerous experiences of worldwide and DACA students.
At MPOWER, they consider that we’re not simply increasing entry to increased schooling. They are additionally creating globally-minded, multi-lingual, culturally competent graduates poised to tackle the world’s most urgent issues in science, technology, enterprise, and public coverage.
In recognition of the extraordinary potential of those college students, they’ve created the MPOWER Global Citizen Scholarship.
Awards
- Grand Prize: $5,000
- Honorable Mentions (2): $1,000
Eligibility Requirements
- Be accepted at, or enrolled in, a full-time degree program at the U.S. or Canadian faculty that MPOWER helps, and
- Be a global pupil allowed to legally examine within the U.S. or Canada, as relevant:
- For examine within the U.S., which means that the applicant meets one of those standards:
- Has a legitimate visa that allows examination within the U.S.
- Is protected below the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
- Is a U.S. everlasting resident (Green Card holder)
- For examination in Canada, this implies the applicant meets one of those standards:
- Is a Canadian everlasting resident
- Has a legitimate Canadian examination allow
- For examine within the U.S., which means that the applicant meets one of those standards:
