Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical expertise.
- Experience in studying or debugging code (e.g., Java, C, C++, .NET, Python, Shell, Perl, JavaScript).
- Experience advocating for customer needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing, administering, and troubleshooting network infrastructure devices, together with: Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Wireless, and network monitoring instruments.
- Experience using strategies equivalent to packet capture/packet analysis, artificial packet creation, load testing, and visitors path analysis to troubleshoot network latency, packet loss, and different performance issues on the packet level.
- Experience in SQL database administration, Google App Engine, open supply software communities, Cloud networking options, and/or distributed computing technology.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix or Windows systems
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Routing, VPNs, VLANs, Peering, Load Balancing, and so on.) and web technologies (HTTP, HTML, DNS, and so on.).
Responsibilities
- Manage the customer’s problem by efficient diagnosis, resolution, or implementation of new investigation instruments to extend productiveness for customer challenges on Google Cloud Platform products.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of Google’s product technology and underlying architectures by troubleshooting, reproducing, figuring out the root trigger for customer reported challenges, and constructing tools for faster analysis, so we will establish and resolve future challenges quickly.
- Act as a marketing consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders in engineering, gross sales, and customer organizations to resolve technical deployment obstacles and enhance Google Cloud.
- Work intently with several Product and Engineering teams to search out ways to enhance the Supportability, products, and interact with our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to drive high-quality production.
- Understand customer challenges and advocate for their wants with cross-functional teams like Product Management or Software Engineering.
