The Essential Minimum Academic Qualifications for Posts of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor are Ph.D. in respective self-discipline and shall have First Class (no less than 6.5 CGPA on a scale of l0 or equal or 60% combination) within the previous Degrees. Candidates having Ph.D. diplomas instantly after B.Tech. are additionally eligible and they need to have obtained First Class at Bachelor’s degree.

  • Civil Engineering: B.Tech. in Civil Engineering with M.Tech. and Ph.D. in related areas of specialization
  • Computer Science & Engineering: B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering or Information Technology with M.Tech. and Ph.D. in related areas of specialization
  • Electrical Engineering: B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering with M.Tech. and Ph.D. in related areas of specialization.
  • Electronics & Communication Engineering: B.Tech. in Electronics & Communication Engineering with M.Tech. and Ph.D. in related areas of specialization
  • Materials & Metallurgical Engineering: B.Tech. in Metallurgical and/or Materials Engineering with M.Tech. and Ph.D. in related areas of specialization
  • Mechanical Engineering: B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering/ Production Engineering and/or Industrial Engineering with M.Tech. and Ph.D. in related areas of specialization.
