Support Engineers (SE) serve as frontline technical resources for Microsoft clients and partners through phone, email, or internet. They deliver distinctive value by collaboratively and reactively fixing customer issues, offering proactive help recommendations, contributing to product quality and enhancements, and creating self-help belongings to broadly reach more clients.

You shall be a part of the team accountable for providing excellent technical help experience to our business customers. From problem identification to full resolution, you’ll own and handle the client experience over the phone and Web. When wanted, you’ll collaborate with others to interact with subject matter experts, Engineering (Product Groups), or Management.

Your daily job shall be about offering both technical expertise (both by yourself or by involving your colleagues) and about being a wonderful communicator and a service-oriented professional. You shall be given the chance to grow to be a subject matter expert in a single or more area and receive guidance and mentorship from your colleagues.



  • Excellent understanding of Database ideas and deployments
  • Experience supporting or sustaining complicated mission-critical database options, RDMS technologies, and/or SQL language
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting expertise, a capability to use numerous knowledge assortment tools and methodologies to investigate issues, determine root cause and develop options
  • Excellent Communication Skills – verbal, listening and written (together with technical writing).
  • Passion for technology, lifelong learning {and professional} improvement.
  • Experience in a single or more of these areas desirable
    • Experience supporting Azure or different cloud-based options
    • Microsoft certifications in knowledge platform or Azure technologies
    • Experience troubleshooting distributed options
    • Experience troubleshooting Open Source Databases like MySQL, Postgre SQL, and many others.,
    • Basic Networking, Storage and Platform troubleshooting expertise
  • Responsible for the customer help experience with Microsoft
  • Own, troubleshoot, and solve customer technical issues, using collaboration, troubleshooting finest practices, and transparency inside and throughout groups (e.g. swarming)
  • Identify instances that require escalation (both technically or strategically)
  • Create and preserve incident management requests to product group/engineering group
  • Contribute to case deflection initiatives, automation, and different digital self-help assets to enhance customer/ engineer expertise
  • Provide ramp actions, knowledge sharing, technical coaching, and mentoring
  • Drive technical collaboration & engagement outside of CSS (Product Engineering groups/Services/Support/Regions)
  • Lead or take part in constructing communities with peer delivery roles; maybe workload or specialty particular
